Great game. The atmosphere and story really got me engaged while playing. I always loved analog horror games, even though there wasn't too much gameplay, it was still creepy especially the voice acting.
Good game but i really dont understand why isnt it a youtube analog horror video, i dont really see a point to turn it into a game, there is only one ending and the choices don't matter lol
This game honestly threw me for a loop. Definitely nailed that eerie feeling as the game progressed. Was expecting worse things to happen, maybe a jumpscare, but honestly felt the lack of one put me at more unease. Great game!
The story was interesting and loved how it progressed.
Kept waiting for some crazy jumpscare but instead, it hit with an unsettling check yes or no of normal/abnormal as your new friend just stares at you... menacingly!
It provided some creepy chills and then finding out more about what the prototype is was terrifying and intriguing!
Building on the feeling of the unknown as your progress through tones and choices.
This was such a good game!! I haven't really played a good horror game (let alone analogue horror) that didn't require a jumpscare to be scary! Love this!!
Congrats on a very successful game, Al! It was a delight to play, and also a very big delight to see that you landed front page!! Hoping to play more of your games soon :D
incredible game, gives you uncanny valley vibes. Loved the way the story was told, the way everything was slowly connecting. Wish we could interact a bit more with the prototype but overall it was amazing, specially storywise!!
I introduced this to my friend recently and after watching them play I noticed all of the small touch-ups done since the first release. Genuinely impressed at how much those tiny fixes made the whole thing seem more like a polished product. It's really admirable to see that type of quality control and I'm definitely looking forward to future projects.
This game was incredible and I really enjoyed it. It was fun slowly piecing together what happened. Also just wondering if this game was made in python because I saw a python file and was curious since I'm a python developer as well.
yes, you are correct ! their videos along with some other gameplay of the fnaf salvage minigames were a big inspiration for this kinetic vn! i wish i could have done more as well, but due to the game jam’s restrictions, i regrettably couldn’t add more story beats. regardless thank you for your input !

The concept of it reminds me of FNAF, and surely it was creepy as hell! Great job!

(spoilers)
Was the person who interviewed Nick an animatronic as well? he tried hard to sound "jolly" and the way he interrupted nick indicates that.
nope. he’s just a really eccentric dude :)
I really like this one!

The further you go the creepier it gets. At first I was confused, but when I caught up to things that happen I was almost shocked. Great game ;)

loved it! Story was great and scary! I actually felt bad for the prototype!
The uncanny valley effect this game took on me hurt my soul.
i hope they make a new game and expand on this
This was SOOO good! The ending... damn.
It was unsettling...
I was confused until things took a very dark turn. Very disturbing (in a good way) and very cool!
Really unexpected ending & the play thing is really creepy! Keep up the good work!
wow i was not expecting this game to be so good
This is a solid game and I'm glad to see a story that makes sense and can be pieced together. With these kinds of games that's typically not the case.
Thanks for making games!
My god this game was amazing! Hope to see more in the future (you’re super talented!)
The entire story behind it is so sad is so terrifying..

I really enjoyed this! The atmosphere, the glitching words and movements really got me! This was very well crafted!
